How to register and book your accommodation

REGISTRATION

Access to all sessions and all Conference activities is subject to registration.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance and as early as possible in order to benefit from lower registration fees, wider hotel accommodation choice, social events, tours availability.

You can register by the TWO following ways:

  • by secure online registration and payment, via this website.
    Please note that in order to register online, you need to pay by credit card. This is the only payment which is accepted for online registration.

  • by fax or post. Download the registration form, complete it and send it to the Conference office accompanied by the payment. All payment methods are accepted for fax and post registration.

Registration requests or changes by phone will not be processed.
Upon receipt of your registration and after payment clearance, the Conference Office will mail you an invoice/confirmation letter summarizing all registration and accommodation details and specifying payment status as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) amounts.
This confirmation letter should be presented upon arrival at the pre-registration desk.

* For students: please provide proof of full time student status when submitting your registration form (ID card or letter from your institution or programme director).

Please note: after October 13th, 2006, pre-registrations will NOT be accepted any longer by the Conference Office BUT you will have, of course, the possibility to register on site.

Please note: for group registration, you may contact the Conference office for special procedure.

Delegates’ Registration Fees include:

  • Admission to all Conference sessions, poster and exhibition areas
  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception
  • Conference documents (final programme, abstract book, Conference bag)
  • Morning and afternoon breaks.

Accompanying Persons’ Fees include:

  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception
  • The possibility of buying a ticket for the Conference evening

Terms of Payment

Mandate was given to MCI FRANCE by IUSTI for the organisation of the 22nd IUSTI-Europe Conference on Sexually Transmitted Infections and therefore to act and receive the fees on its behalf.

All payments must be sent to the Conference Office, in EUROS (€), and by the following means:

  • by cheque payable in France to the order of:

  • by credit card: VISA / EUROCARD / MASTER CARD or AMEX
    only (no other cards accepted)
  • by bank transfer to the order of IUSTI 2006 c/o MCI FRANCE to:

Copy of the bank transfer must be sent along with the registration form. Do not forget to mention on the bank transfer order the name of the person you are paying for. Please note that the organisers will not absorb bank charges.

Modifications / Name substitutions

For changes in registration, a processing fee of 30 € will be charged, except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.
All changes must be requested in writing to the Conference Office.

Cancellation Conditions for Individual Registration and Accommodation

All cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail, fax or e-mail) to the Conference Office and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Up to July 19th, 2006: 100 € will be withheld for administrative fee for registration cancellation and 20 € will be held for administrative fee for accommodation cancellation.
  • Cancellations between July 20th, 2006 and September 1st, 2006: reimbursement of 50% of the amounts paid.
  • After September 2nd, 2006, no refunds will be issued.

All reimbursements will be processed AFTER the Conference.
Requests for refunds made after December 31st, 2006 will not be considered.

ACCOMMODATION

Versailles offers an large hotel rooms variety and accommodation for all budgets and tastes can be found in all city neighborhoods.
On the occasion of the 22nd IUSTI-Europe Conference on Sexually Transmitted Infections, rooms at several hotels in the Palais des Congrès de Versailles district have been pre-blocked for participants and their families.

According to their location, some hotels are at walking distance from the Conference venue, some other a few minutes away by public transportation.

There will be no shuttle services provided by the Conference between the Conference hotels and the Palais des Congrès de Versailles.

To make a reservation, you can:

  • by fax or post. Download the registration form, complete it and send it to the Conference office accompanied by the payment. All payment methods are accepted for fax and post registration.

Please note:

    • A 1 night-deposit will be required in order to guarantee your booking and the corresponding amount will be automatically deducted from your hotel bill when leaving.
    • No phone reservations will be taken into consideration.
    • A confirmation letter will be mailed to you recalling all the information of your accommodation request.
    • A fixed charge of 20 € per reservation will be required for all hotel reservations.

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: September 1st, 2006

Although the organisers will be unable to guarantee hotel rooms after September 1st, 2006, every effort will be made to satisfy even late requests.

Room Rates

All rates are indicated in Euros, per night and per room.
Reservations must be made through the Conference Office to guarantee the indicated rates negotiated for the Conference.
Unless otherwise indicated, most of the rates do not include breakfast. Breakfast rates are per person per day.

Do Not Forget:

  • If you decide to postpone your stay at the last minute, the rooms will be kept by the hotels according to the amount of the deposit received.
  • « No Shows » on the first night will automatically cancel the entire reservation and involve the loss of the entire deposit.
  • No reservation will be made without the requested deposit. The deposit must be corresponding to 1 night.
